The Shack

I read a book this summer called The Shack that is definitely on my "Must Read" list (this list is not published but is jumbled somewhere in my mind). It is a fictional story of a man who's daughter is kidnapped and tragically killed and the father's journey to healing, reconciliation, and peace. I seriously think this book is going to spread like wildfire across the country, as it already has to some extent. In fact, I was on vacation and I saw someone sitting by the pool with a copy! Anyway, the book will provoke thought about God's interaction with humans in their suffering. It deals with the timeless question, "Where is God in the midst of pain?" And the plot of the story is.......seriously, did you think I would do that? Get a copy!
